Systems of the Trail

A science experience delivered as a art project - From cellular to summit. This project highlights the biodiversity whilst trail running throughout Geboor/Mount Macedon, magnifying flora and fauna and showcasing the often overlooked ecological interactions of a trail run.  

By highlighting micro and macro ecosystems throughout the trail, native plant species, geological outcrops, fungi, and mycelium networks which are often unseen without an engaged sense of awareness of the present moment.

This art project highlights the importance of ecosystems within our natural world — To inspire us to educate ourselves on the impact with are having and to ensure these environments thrive for future generations to enjoy and prosper from.
