Aire Libre New Zealand
Aire Libre experiences are transformative travel retreats focused on running, hiking, wellness, and cultural immersion in remote natural landscapes. These experiences aim to connect participants with the natural world, ancestral wisdom, and diverse communities, promoting sustainable tourism and personal growth through meaningful connections rather than just physical achievement.
Throughout 2024, I researched, designed and hosted a six-day trail running experience throughout the Mount Aspring National Park in Central Otago, New Zealand (Aotearoa). With a focus on highlighting native flora and fauna and Maori culture, guests from around the world left this experience connected to each other, the environment and to the Maori philosophies.
